Character Sheet
Free
Reads your character sheet
Windows only. This app runs through the Scryboard App Runner, a free desktop program that's only available for Windows right now. It won't run on a Mac or Linux computer.
Reads your D&D character sheet (PDF or photos) once and lays it out on your session dashboard like the printed sheet: a main sheet card, a spell card with slots, and a features & gear card. Edits you make in Scryboard's Edit character page show up automatically. HP and conditions go live during encounters, plus a roll-modifier prompt when it's your attack or save.
Player-facing
Used only by players.
What this app can access
Reads the list of past and current sessions, character sheets (installed by a player, only that player's own), encounter/initiative state, live-detected rules lookups and combat triggers.
Writes character sheets (installed by a player, only that player's own), dashboard widget output.
- Does not read the live session transcript.
- Does not read the campaign member roster.
Requires your own API key
- Anthropic API key — From console.anthropic.com. Used to read your character sheet out of its PDF/photos.
You'll need to provide these yourself when you install — the App Runner asks for them once and stores them securely on your computer. Any usage costs from that service are between you and its provider; Scryboard is not involved and does not see the cost.
